Slack Connect allows account teams to invite external vendors and suppliers into shared channels. AI-powered features like summaries, recaps, huddle notes, and account briefs help teams stay up to date and onboard new collaborators quickly. Workflows streamline processes and reduce meetings.

Wayfair rolled out Salesforce channels in Slack starting with Enterprise Sales and extending to SMB. Account and opportunity channels bring together Account Executives, Sales Solutions Managers, Consolidated Delivery teams, and Enterprise Account Managers. The same model is being extended to SMB opportunities requiring cross-functional coordination. AI summaries are used to onboard new project members mid-deal. Slack also serves as a cultural hub with channels like #global-voice-of-sales for frontline feedback and #gong-room for celebrating wins. A Channel Expert Agent (CEA) bot is planned to answer deal-related FAQs and surface Salesforce records.
